Laurelhurst Park Engagement

What a sweet surprise it was to see some amazing fall colors at Laurelhurst Park in Portland, Oregon. I’m always looking for spots with a variety of colors for shoots in the fall and this was in December and the fall colors were still coming. Everything foliage was pretty late this year so keep an eye on this park next year around November if you’re looking for fun colors!

This park has it all – beautiful trees and greenery, a pond with ducks to watch swim about, a dog park, lots of paved paths for walking/running/biking, a very picturesque set of stairs, and good vibes. For a park right in the middle of east Portland you really couldn’t ask for more!

Allison and Anthony were really fun to shoot with and were cracking jokes with each other the whole session. It was chilly but we braved the cold and so did their cute rescue pup, Scout!

Some other parks in Portland that I love shooting at are Hoyt Arboretum in Washington Park and Cathedral Park. The Portland waterfront (on either side) is always fun too!
