These photos just immediately transport me to winter in the Pacific Northwest. Rainy, mood, wet, and super green. Eloping in Oregon is so special because you have an incredible variety of backdrops and eloping in the forest is always so beautiful. This elopement took place at the Woodlands House which is a home you can rent through Airbnb and with permission you can also have an elopement/intimate wedding there! The home itself is three stories with 4 bedrooms and has a Scandinavian/boho vibe to it. There’s a beautiful deck with string lights and a hot tub that looks out into the lush dense forest and green landscape. There’s trails on the property, spaces for small ceremonies, as well as a cute little modern greenhouse in the woods that you can have a small dinner reception in (I’m talking maybe 8 people). The owners are actually photographers as well as they’ve designed everything with that in mind and it’s a great spot for an elopement in Oregon.
The home itself is off highway 26 on the route to Mt Hood just past Sandy, OR. It’s roughly a 30 minute drive to Government Camp where in the winter you’d start to approach snow or in the summer you enter the world of Mt Hood summer hiking! One of my favorite things about living in the PNW is that it stays green year-round so this spot is stunning in all 4 seasons.
