I’m throwing it back to the summertime today with this super fun engagement shoot at Timberline Lodge at the base of Mt Hood in Oregon. If you haven’t heard of Timberline before its an historic hotel that sits at 6000 ft of elevation above (and sometimes in) the clouds. The views are hard to beat year round and on this particular day for Sara and Corey’s engagement the lupine wildflowers put on a show.
The views of Mt Hood never get old in every direction. Obviously the view of the mountain is spectacular and grand, but you turn around to look the opposite way and can see forever with watercolor layers of beautiful mountains and peaks in the distance. Between the views, the blooms, and this cute family we were all set! Mt Hood is dog friendly so Sara and Corey were able to bring their furbabies along. Scroll down to see them!
Mt Hood is a special place. Winter brings tons of snow activities and clean white landscapes while the summer brings plenty of opportunities for hiking, swimming, and camping. Its an underrated location for engagement shoots that I highly highly recommend considering. In addition, its a fabulous spot for elopements and weddings as well. The possibilities are truly endless. Here’s a snowy elopement from last winter!
