Moulton Falls Family Session – Battleground, WA

OH HEY!! First blog post whaddup?? Welcome to my page friends! I hope to be on here often sharing my adventures and hopefully inspiring/enlightening/bringing joy to you and yours. Happy to be sharing this family photoshoot as my first blog entry!

It was a late August evening and the air was a perfect mid to high seventies with kids jumping into the river and people enjoying the final days of summer. Moulton Falls is one of my favorite local spots. It’s not only a great photography location but my dogs love to run back and forth on the trails in the area.

I met Maria (mama bear) about a year ago as she was a fellow yoga instructor at Parallel 45 in Vancouver, WA. She’s a real estate agent nowadays but will always be full yogi at heart. I was immediately drawn to her kind, empathetic energy and warm spirit. We had talked about doing a family photoshoot for months but with two teenagers going every direction it was hard to pin them down! I’m happy to say we made it happen!

The Limbergs have two golden retrievers, which I love because I have one myself. who are as sweet as can be. The dogs are getting older as they do (way too fast I might add) so the family wanted to be able to commemorate their love and family fur babies. I fully support this decision! They were so happy to be out and about that it was near impossible to get them to hold still, but either way I love how the photos turned out. As always pinching myself over the fact that I get to capture moments like these as my job.
